When B-sticks go through the rigorous process of rolling, weighing and pitch-pairing there are many sticks that never make it to Premier Selection. This can be due to many reasons such as:

• not being 100% perfectly straight (the most common)
• they are outside the median weight classes
• the wood may be discolored
• undesirable wood grain structure

These sticks are called Seconds. They are made from the same high quality wood but with minor flaws.

We try to throw the worst of the discarded sticks out- we call them 'Bananas' due to the shape. What is left are sticks that many drummers are perfectly happy using.

Some use them for practice or sticks to throw to the audience.

The sticks are not paired and not packed in the usual airtight plastic bags but the good news is that they are HALF PRICE.

We sell them the same way as the Premier Selection - except everytime you order a pair of Seconds you actually get 2 PAIRS or 4 sticks.
